Published posthumously, The Man with the Golden Gun was Fleming's last complete novel, succeeded only by his short story collection Octopussy and the Living Daylights.

First edition, first impression; 8vo (19.5 x 13.5 cm); unmarked internally; publisher's plain black cloth, spine lettered in gilt, patterned endpapers, light spotting to edges, with the unclipped pictorial dustjacket by Richard Chopping, some spotting to front and rear panels, spine slightly tanned, light edge-wear, a couple of nicks to spine ends with associated creasing, else very good.
