One of 100 copies - signed by the author and contributors. This catalogue was limited to 26 lettered copies and 100 numbered copies signed by C. Day Lewis, Philip Larkin, T. C. Skeat, and Jenny Lewis, on the colophon leaf as issued; this copy being number 23.

Loosely inserted is a 7-page pamphlet entitled Poetry in the Making: Illustrative Material, and two invitations to poetry readings by John Betjeman, Edmund Blunden, Roy Fuller, Ted Hughes, Christopher Logue, George Macbeth and Stevie Smith.

First edition, first printing, number 23 of 100 copies, signed by the author and contributors, from a total edition of 126; 8vo; 8 photographic illustrations, very minor age-toning, else unmarked internally; publisher's dark blue cloth, gilt lettering to spine, blue endpapers, with the dustjacket; a near-fine example.
