The original members of the Association are listed as Rev. H.H. Jessup (1832-1910) author of Fifty-Three Years In Syria, Mary Jessup, Dr. Samuel Glover, Frank Woodruff, Anna Jessup, Amy Jessup, James Jewett and Robert Beatie. Those who joined at Camp were the Rev. Daniel Bliss, the first President of the Beyrouth College, and Dr. Charles Dight.
First edition; 8vo (19.5 x 15 cm); folding map tipped to p.1 (as issued), a couple of marginal annotations from previous owner; original hessian limp boards, with title block-printed to upper cover, all edges red, a small tear to spine, a very good copy; 96pp.
