A lovely copy of this extension to the Raffles stories originally penned by E. W. Hornung. The book recounts the adventures of Henriette, the old flame of infamous 'Gentleman Thief' A.J. Raffles, who partners up with Bunny for a crime spree following the death of Raffles. Bangs was an author and humorist who chiefly found fame as the author of the 'Associated Shades' series, set in Hades and revolving around a group of literary legends' shades in the Underworld.

First edition, small 8vo; plates by Albert Levering, some minor toning, contemporary personal library sticker to front pastedown, original pictorial cloth.
