Beneath La Photographie n'est pas L'Art on the title-page, he has written 'and Art is not photography! / Man Ray / 1965'.
First edition, inscribed by Man Ray on the title-page; 5 text leaves and 12 light yellow relief halftone plates (245 x 160 mm, 9¾ x 6¼ in) loose in the original blue printed wrappers titled in black, very minor strip of fading, with the publisher's black die-cut outer wrapper with minor wear to extremities and a small area of abrasion to lower side, near-fine.
