David Kohn (aka David Cahana, 1838–1915) was a Russian-Jewish archaeologist, historian and a prolific Hebrew writer. Born in Odessa he received a rabbinic education, but at the age of fourteen went to study medieval literature, modern languages, history and archaeology.
Marë Halewanon is commentary of the Song of Songs. Shmuel Ashkenazi Deutschländer was a 19th century Hungarian Rabbi, who authored a few Kabbalisitc commentary works.
