Second edition; 8vo (22 x 16 cm); 6 plates with tissue-guards and 16 wood engravings throughout text, spotting to tissue-guards and corresponding plates, though not affecting visibility of images, occasional minor spot or mark elsewhere, otherwise clean and bright; publisher's green cloth gilt, with gilt illustration to upper board and letting to spine, top edge gilt, contemporary pen inscription to front free endpaper, spine slightly faded, light signs of wear to extremities, small abrasion to upper board, though largely unnoticeable, else very good plus; 305pp.
