First edition, first printing, domestic issue printed by Billings; large 8vo ( 230 x 150 mm); with map tipped-in at rear, internally fresh; publisher's dark blue cloth, spine gilt, pictorial dust-jacket, corners to cloth are slightly bumped with a hint of dulling to the spine of the jacket but free from inscriptions or stamps, near-fine condition; 365pp, [1].
