A richly illustrated children's book, a Ukrainian translation of a tale by Russian children's writer Mariia Klokova-Lapina (1884–1943), translated by Mykhailo Voronyy (1871–1938), himself a noted Ukrainian writer, translator, and political figure. He was one of the founders of both the Central Rada of Ukraine and the Ukrainian National Theatre.
