First edition; folio (50.7 x 34.6 cm); 48 double-page maps, hand-coloured in outline, watercourses printed in blue, advertisements tipped in at rear, slight marginal toning, light foxing to prelims and light spash-stains to four maps, otherwise good; contemporary burgundy half morocco gilt, gilt lettering to spine and upper cover, spine with 6 raised bands and gilt in compartments, light rubbing to extremities, all edges gilt, teal endpapers, overall a very good example.
