With the author's signed presentation inscription to the title page, 'Arthur Bryant For Harold Wilson 47th Prime Minister of Great Britain from the author Christmas 1968 in admiration of his courage'. On the leaf opposite the title page Bryant has written a quatrain from Kipling's The King's Task. On the rear endapapers in Wilson's hand is a list of page numbers with associated marginal scoring to the text.

Twentieth impression, inscribed by the author to Prime Minister Harold Wilson. 8vo.; original red cloth, titles to spine gilt. Contents a little browned, very good.
