Whilst the first US edition was published in 1964, the UK edition is noteworthy because the author chose to make some minor textual alterations, whilst retaining the pagination of the US edition of 1964.

First UK edition; 4to (270 x 170mm); several in-line illustrations in b&w, hint of age-toning, pages are wonderfully clean, no foxing/spotting; publisher's original laminated pictorial boards, without dust-wrapper as issued, only a small chip to lower spine laminate, otherwise intact, rubbing to extremities of spine, which is slightly cocked, however the binding is firm, very good; 128pp.
