Inscribed by Pinter on the dedication page. A marvellous inscribed copy with Pinter's signed presentation inscription to the dedication page, 'To George Barker with great admiration. Harold Pinter'. Loosely inserted is a two-page autograph letter to Barker dispatching the book. Barker was a poet and critic of some repute. Published just before Pinter began work on another of his influential screenplays, A French Lieutenant's Woman. Very uncommon inscribed.

First edition, first impression, inscribed by Pinter on the dedication page; small 4to; publisher's green boards, titles to spine in gold, green topstain, dust-jacket, price-clipped, lightly frayed and sunned but not price-clipped, in all, very good.
