London, John Lane The Bodley Head, 1936
First edition printed in the UK, one of 100 numbered copies, specially bound and signed by the author from an overall limitation of 1000; 4to; internally fine, probably unread; publisher's full vellum, with Homeric bow designed by Eric Gill to upper board gilt, titles to spine gilt, original card slip-case, Curwen Paper covering, title label to side giving the limitation number (87), minimally rubbed with some spotting to the label, preserved in a blue solander box, slightly worn, a very good copy indeed.
