A rare Hubin listed first edition, by an author of detective fiction who often drew favourable comparison with Agatha Christie during her long career. The very good jacket artwork is by the illustrator and graphic artist Dorothea Braby, best known for the illustrations she provided for the Golden Cockerel Press.

First edition, first impression; 8vo; publisher's mustard yellow cloth, a very good copy, in the correctly priced dust-jacket with artwork by Dorothea Braby, a little frayed at head of spine and fore-corners, but overall very good.

In Hubin.
