Lyon is often considered the second city of France after Paris. It lies between two great rivers - the Rhone and Saone which both converge in the South of the city. This map gives detailed plan of the city in the late nineteenth century.
Large engraved coloured folding map, dissected into 36 folding sections and mounted on linen, (size: 68 x 90 cm), street index inside borders, designed by Driat, engraved by Delamare; housed in contemporary mottled slipcase with printed yellow label; an attractive map.
