III, some occasional, one quire split in vol. VI but firm, minor peripheral spotting but in the main, clean and bright; 19th-century half red calf, marbled boards, matching endpapers and edges, spine finely gilt-tooled, black lettering pieces, a little rubbed at extremities, otherwise, very good; lxxvi, 546; 564; 542; 514; 588; 546pp.
