A lavish work celebrating Tsar Nicholas II's visit to France in 1901, profusely illustrated with scenes from the visit as well as portraits of the Romanov family. The first 25 pp. of text are printed in gold in dedication to Tsar Nicholas II. Scarce, WorlCat locates just five holdings.
Limited edition, one of 50 copies on Japon, this number 3; folio (37 x 29 cm); illustrated throughout, a.e.g.; publisher's cream leather style paper over boards with elaborate gilt design, binding a little marked otherwise a very good copy.
