After a sporting holiday in the Himalayas Dunlop, an English Civil Servant of the Raj returned to Meerut in the period following the Sepoy Revolt and provides an account of the violent disorder there.

First edition; 8vo, xi, 168 pp., tinted lithograph frontispiece, 2 tinted lithograph plates, 6 monochrome plates, illustrations in text, original blind stamped cloth gilt, all edges gilt, a very good copy.
