das ist kurtze, doch wahrhafft- und denck-wurdige Beschreibung dess gelobten Heiligen Lands.
Ausgburg, M. M. Utzschneiderin, 1699
He wrote a description of these journeys from 1655 to 1656, which appeared for the first time (without illustrations) in 1664. It was reissued in 1667, this time with numerous copper engravings (illustrations and maps of the Holy Land and the Battle of the Dardanelles), woodcuts (of Jerusalem, Morea and other places) and supplements. Further editions were published in the following decades in Dillingen and Augsburg (1699, published by Maria Magdalena Utzschneider).
Second edition; 4to, (21.5 x 16.5 cm); frontispiece, 6 woodcut plates (4 folding), 17 woodcuts in text, 2 folding engraved maps, scattered light foxing, some toning to leaves; contemporary blindstamped vellum-backed boards, spine lettered in manuscript, boards marked and rubbed, faded blue edges, corners slightly rubbed, metal clasps removed, overall a very good copy.
