First US edition; 8vo 9200 x 135 mm); illustrated throughout in colour by Gilbert Rumbold, fairly consistent, light spotting, a little heavier to few pages but some not affected; publisher's cloth gilt, Art Deco foil design to upper board, lower board gilt, illustrated endpapers, which are lightly spotted with repairs to hinges, minor rubbing to extremities with a few chips and small abrasions, some shelf-wear to rear board mild spotting to edges but overall a good copy.
