A delightful set of Austen's six complete novels, comprising: Emma, Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Northanger Abbey, and Persuasion. With illustrations by the Cranford School artist Hugh Thomson (1860-1920) and his follower Charles Edmund Brock (1870-1938).

6 vols bound in 5, 8vo (19.5 x 13.5 cm); numerous illustrations by Hugh Thomson and Charles Brock, including tissue-guarded frontispieces, roughly cut edge to fore-margin of p. 203 of Northanger Abbey but not affecting text, otherwise internally near-fine, crisp and bright; near contemporary half polished calf over tan cloth, gilt spines, top edges gilt, sun fading to spines, minor rubbing, otherwise very good.
