First Rackham trade edition, first impression; 4to; 50 tipped in colour plates by Arthur Rackham, captioned tissue guards, occasional spotting to text leaves, more evident to preliminary and terminal ones, not affecting plates, roughly cut top edge to p. 77 with resultant loss to outer corner of margin and tear to same area on following leaf, neither affecting text; publisher's russet cloth, gilt lettering to spine and upper cover, gilt block illustration to upper cover, which is slightly bowed, rubbed at extremities, minor soiling and dulling to spine, otherwise a good copy.
