First edition, first printing, first issue (with 'pendula' on p.9, line 21, and a bullet between the two 8s of the page number on p.88), inscribed by the author; 8vo; unmarked internally; publisher's beige cloth, front cover and spine stamped in black and orange, light spotting to cloth at spine and extremities, with the price-clipped pictorial dust-jacket, light toning to spine (as often), mild rubbing and creasing to extremities; a near-fine copy housed in custom quarter leather and marble boards solander box.
