4to (255 z 205 mm); Illustrated with 12 tipped-in colour plates including frontispiece, several small comical coloured sketches in text and on preliminaries, offsetting and light spotting to endpapers, some light, marginal age-toning otherwise very good; publisher's red cloth gilt illustrative block to upper board, spine lettered in gilt, slight bumping to corners, else very bright, red pictorial dust-jacket, spine fading and closed tears to spine, chips and small losses to spine ends and upper edges of flap folds, some soiling to edges of closed text block, otherwise good.
