Scarce. An account of the 1918-19 geological reconnaissance of Mesopotamia, focusing on oil indications. The survey went from Tikrit, up the right bank of the Tigris to Mosul, and across the river to Nineveh, Kirkuk, and Table Mountain. This book is the official account of his tour. Pascoe was incredibly thorough, producing a splendid blueprint for finding commercially exploitable oil fields in Northern Iraq, a feat made more amazing given the short amount of time he had to explore the country.
