First edition thus, limited to 500 numbered sets of which this is number 125; 8vo (142 x 165 mm)); fifteen volumes, illustrated by Quentin Blake and others; publisher's quarter blue morocco over weave pattern paper-covered boards, titles to spine gilt, top edges gilt, each volume preserved in a matching paper-covered slip- case, the whole contained in a large blue paper- covered slip-case, lightly rubbed at a couple of places, otherwise a fine set that appears to be unread.
