The Antarctic Disaster;

One of the first official publications on the Terra Nova expedition and the news of the terrible loss of R.F. Scott and his four companions. Largely made up of speeches and testimonials given by the Earl Curzon of Kedleston, president of the R.G.S., and Sir Clements Markham, as well as a reproduction of Scott's last diary entries, a description of his funeral service, letters of condolence, and a summary of known facts of the expedition.

Scott and his companions had been found in November of 1912 by the rescue team but only on the 10th of February, after the Terra Nova had landed back in England, did the world learn of their fate.
