One of the author's earliest novels exceptionally uncommon in the dust jacket which Cross & Ravenscroft-Hulme state they had never seen. We know of just a couple of other examples, one of which was partially defective.
First edition, first impression, signed by the author on title-page; 8vo; publisher's brown cloth, titles to spine gilt, with the dust jacket. Mild partial browning to endpapers, very light, occasional spotting but an exceptional copy in the slightly rubbed dust jacket with some trivial loss at the head of the spine panel.
