Chang was the stage name of Juan Pablo Jesorum, a native of Panama who learned magic as an assistant for The Great Raymond, known for 'Shooting A Bullet Through A Woman', an illusion also performed by Carter the Great. Fak Hong, also a western magician, was active with Chang. Neither magician was actually Asian, but at the time there was a public fascination with China.
