A charming collection of phtographs of Mumbai (Bombay) as it was at the start of the twentieth century, largely focussing on the civic buildings and hotels including the High Court University Clock Tower, the Bombay Museum, Victoria Station, the General Post Office, Crawford Market, the Taj Mahal Hotel, Waterloo Mansions, the Great Western Hotel, and others.

Landscape 8vo (18 x 24 cm); 24 mounted photographs with captions; publisher's original stab-stitched limp canvas wrappers, printed labels to upper cover, wrappers a little frayed with a few chips, a very good copy well preserved internally.
