Detailed chart of the Chinese coastline from the city of Canton, southwards to the island of Lankeet. Above the title is a mileage scale and an elongated depiction of "Land taken upon the Lower Shoal of the First Bar". To the left of the survey are further depictions of parcels of land, as they appear from the sea. Below this is a very detailed and lengthy set of martime instructions, from Lankeet Island to Canton, as stipulated and set down by J.Huddart, dated 10 October 1786.

Engraved sea chart, inset of coastal profiles and directions. Slight marginal staining, but in good condition. Dimensions: 640 × 520 mm. (25.25 × 20.5 inches).
