An extensive collection of Alexander Pope's work, spanning his entire career, including unpublished letters and correspondences, as well as Pope's early translations of Chaucer and Ovid from his teenage years. In addition to this, volume III features a facsimile of two pages of the Essay on Man, Book IV, prepared for the quarto edition of Pope's works 1735, with M.S. alterations by Pope, including a character of Marlborough 'hitherto unpublished'.
