With a total of 10 signatures to the half-title, inscribed 'Review Dinner 21.6.36' apparently by the final signatory, Michael Sadler.

First edition, signed by the author and other members of the Detection Club; 8vo; light offsetting to endpapers, some spotting to edges; publisher's orange cloth, blue lettering to spine and upper cover, dark blue topstain, with the original unclipped dust-jacket, lightly rubbed and marked; a very good copy.
