First edition, first impression. second issue (as usual with textual changes "Chaucer" and "Quin Savory"); 8vo; publisher's black cloth, titles to spine gilt. With the Youngman Carter dust jacket. Book Society bookplate and ink date (1932) to verso of the front free endpaper, some very minor spotting, spine rolled, a few small spots to front board. Very nice in the chipped and little frayed very lightly marked dust jacket.
