Folio (32.5 x 25.5 cm); additional engraved title, illustrated with over 900 black and white and chromolithograph plates and in-text designs, illuminated unused family register, moderate browning and minor spotting throughout, one or two small tears; contemporary black calf gilt, covers panelled in blind, gilt spine in 6 compartments, contrasting red morocco lettering-piece, brass clasp, all edges gilt, a little rubbed with minor loss to corners and joints, covers slightly marked and the gilt a little dulled.
