A first edition of Rudd's Hocks and Moselles which made up part of Constable's Wine Library. This copy explores wines from the Rhine and Moselle region and was edited by Andre Simon who worked on the whole collection and was a top wine expert of the era.

First edition; 8vo (19 x 13.5 cm); contemporary ownership plate on front pastedown, corresponding offset to front free endpaper, folding illustrated map of Rhine and Moselle region to rear endpaper, small red ink mark to lower right corner of map, not affecting illustration, spotting to front and rear endpapers, otherwise good internal condition; publisher's red cloth boards, spine lettered in gilt, some wear to spine due to age, top edge burgundy, good overall condition; [x], 165pp, [1]pp.
