23 volumes in total comprising 9 works, 8vo (23 x 15 cm); illustrated with plates and frontispieces throughout, each with ownership stamp to first blank; uniformly bound in contemporary full calf, gilt double fillet to boards with gilt rolls to board edges and turn-ins, spines in six elaborately gilt compartments wit contrasting green and red gilt morocco lettering pieces, top edges gilt, a fine set.
