First UK edition; 4to (285 x 205 mm), with drawings printed in colour by Hilary Knight, modern bespoke onlaid binding, by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, of polychrome morocco crafted after an original design, of Eloise leaning on a balcony overlooking Paris by night, with Japanese floral endpapers, lettered in silver and all edges silver-gilt stars, fine in every respect.
