Scarce. The Laws of The Great Synagogue of London was published in the year following the completion of the third building at Duke's Place, north of Aldgate, in the City of London. Unusually for the time, the new building was funded by a woman donor, the Jewish-British philanthropist Judith Levy (1706–1803). The building was destroyed on the night of 10-11 May 1941, during one of the last major bombing raids of the Blitz.

8vo, later cloth-backed boards, spine rubbed; a few of the first & last leaves' margins professionally restored, library stamp to title, browning & staining to some of the leaves, bottom edge trimmed at a slight angle; text in Hebrew with some Yiddish; [2], 52, [7] ll.
