First edition, first impression; 8vo; illustrated by Susan Benson, minor spotting and offsetting to endpapers, else unmarked internally; publisher's blue cloth, gilt lettering to spine, original dust-jacket using a photograph by Tina Tranter, extremities slightly rubbed, minor soiling to back panel, else a lovely copy without the usual fading to spine.
