The book was adapted into an Oscar-nominated film of the same title in 1990 starring Robin Williams and Robert De Niro.
First edition, inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper; 8vo; black and white photographic frontispiece, some occasional very light spotting; publisher's black cloth, spine lettered in gilt, in the original black dust jacket printed in white, very lightly marked, an excellent copy; xiii, 255pp.
