First Rackham edition, number 135 of 525 copies, signed by Rackham, with an additional plate in original envelope, signed to the mount by Rackham, (envelope slightly browned and with small chip to head); 4to (300 x 245 mm), illustrated frontispiece, 12 colour plates and additional black & white vignettes within the book, front free endpaper with ownership name dated 1946, the usual browning from loosely inserted tissue-guards and to endpapers, otherwise very good indeed; publisher's grey cloth gilt with pictorial gilt label mounted on upper board, top edge gilt, others uncut, spine darkened, upper cover mildly soiled, rubbed at extremities, with bumping to spine ends, otherwise, also very good-plus.
