A lovely example of Reynolds's Victorian map of London highlighting the train lines and train stations, showing the precedent for train and public transport centred maps before the advent of the tube.

Coloured lithograph plan, dissected into 40 sections and mounted on linen, extending west to east from Hammersmith to River Lea and north to south from Holloway to Brixton, original red covers, discoloured, gilt letters to upper cover. Overall size: 68cm by 101.5cm.
