This edition of Robin Hood was printed from that published in 1832, which was carefully edited and printed from Mr. Ritson's own annotated edition of 1795.

Illustrated edition printed on china paper; 2 volumes, large 8vo (230 x 170mm); frontispiece depicting ritson and nine other etchings protected by tissue-guards, title pages in black and red lettering, 80 wood engravings, top-edges gilt, others untrimmed, minor offsetting to ffeps; quarter vellum over dark brown boards, embossed vignettes to upper boards, gilt titles and three gilt-decorative motifs to spine, mild rubbing to extremities, very good; [cxviii], 148pp; [vi], 251pp.
