Scarce first edition; 8vo (18 x 13 cm); black & white illustrations throughout, light spotting to prelims, occasional small mark or spot, else very good; publisher's black cloth boards with silver illustration to upper board and silver lettering to spine, original dust-jacket in green to upper panel and spine with silver lettering, lower panel cream and lightly spotted, two small holes to rear panel, offsetting to endpapers, some rubbing to extremities, otherwise a very good, bright copy; 282pp.
