9 vols, 8vo (21.5 x 14 cm); 37 engraved plates including portrait frontispiece, armorial bookplate to pastedowns, fresh and clean internally; contemporary full marbled calf, gilt rolls to board borders, edges, and turn-ins, spine lettered in gilt in six compartments, marbled edges and endpapers, occasional restoration to joints, a touch of rubbing to extremities, a very good set.
