Mixed editions (first volume second and all others third editions); 6 volumes bound as five, 8vo (205 x 145 nn); with occasional half-tone plates, discreet previous ownership inscriptions to front free endpapers, some random, marginal spotting or marks to some leaves but in the main very good internally; publishers green cloth, gilt motif to upper boards and gilt lettering to spines, spines a little faded and rubbed, slightly cocked, otherwise a very good and presentable set.
