This was the final work of Daniel Havell (1785-1822), a celebrated engraver of the Havell clan.
First edition; 4to (33.5 x 27 cm); 14 hand-coloured aquatint plates, 2 aquatint plans, with half-title, light occasional spotting, some faint offsetting, half-title a little frayed with lower margin professionally reinforced, otherwise internally very good; original publisher's boards preserved in modern calf-backed box, paper title label to spine, edges untrimmed, upper board detached, boards a little soiled and worn; vi, [2], 92, 4, 16pp.
