Lahori Gate is located on the territory of Walled city of Old Delhi and led to the road from Delhi to Lahore. Caravans and travellers coming from Lahore and Punjab used to enter the Delhi city from this gate. Neither the walls nor the Lahori Gate survived until present days. Nevertheless, the place where it stood is still called Lahori Gate, and the area Lahori Bazaar.
Two albumen prints (Mutiny Monument: image size: 27.5 by 22 cm; Lahori Gate: image size: 22 by 27 cm), pasted on sides of original card. Very good tonal range and in good condition. Manuscript titles in English on card.
